Eagle’s Cheer is a program based on fun, hard work, and family/friendship! We are here to help you build and develop your skills as a cheerleader. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run youth program.
Registration is a two step process, as you will need to register with the KCFC league first, and with the Eagles.
Register at www.kcfootballcheer.org
Register through our website and you will receive and invitation to join a squad in the TeamSnap app. Once you accept the invite, you will have access to the roster and schedule with more details about practices.
No, not at all! Whether you have zero cheer experience or many years of experience we are here to help coach you and help you grow.
Registration needs to be complete no later than May 23, 2025, to guarantee your child’s uniform and other custom items will arrive on time. However, registration will remain open until June 1, 2025. We do Cap our teams, so the quicker you sign up the better your chances are to be placed with us. Don't forget to register on both this website, and the KCFC website.
Practices are held at Hodge Park, which is located on 96th street, off I-435N. Once we get into the colder months practice will be moved indoors at one of our local Schools.
Cheer Coaches will set the practice schedule for their team so days and times may vary. Practices may also start and end earlier as the season progresses, when daylight hours are lost. For the 2025 season, cheer plans to practice 2 times a week. Day will be announced soon, but it will be during the week in the evening.
Any practice changes and updates will be communicated through the TeamSnap App.
Important to Note: KCFC League does allow walk through practices to be completed under the heat rule (tempature is 95 degrees or above OR if the heat index is 105 degrees or above)
The Fees cover the cost of your cheer uniform and most equipment needed for season.
K-3rd: $415 ($90 paid to KCFC for league fees; $325 paid to Eagles for cheer equipment)
4th-8th: $435 ($110 paid to KCFC for league fees; $325 paid to Eagles for cheer equipment)
League Registration fees cover items such as insurance, game fields and administration. Eagle’s fees cover uniforms, equipment, and practice fields/space.
If you are a returning athlete please reach out to Coach Sara about your fees.
Families in need of financial assistance may complete a scholarship application.
Scholarships are available for families in need of financial assistance who reside within the Liberty North School boundary. The 2025 scholarship application deadline is May 1, 2025.
Games are typically played on Saturdays throughout the Fall season. The schedule will be released late August. Once the cheer coaches recieve the schedule we will then get the cheerleaders assigned to their games.
Tackle games are played in the Northland area to include Platte County High School, Liberty North High School, Liberty High School, Smithville High School, and Winnetonka High School. Tackle game can also be held at the Savannah Youth Sports Complex in Savannah, MO, and at Heritage Park in Olathe, Kansas. Flag Football participates in the Platte County Youth Football League which play all their games at Platte Ridge Park.
Cheer squads will cheer for their own grade levels with their teammates. The Heritage and Savannah games may not be options for us to try and stay closer to avoid long commutes.
Please note, if you have a cheer and a football child in the 2025 season, it is not a guarantee that your child who is participating in cheer will get to cheer at your child's football game..
